In other parts of the world, the Honda Fit is called the Honda Jazz.
And in other parts of the world, the Honda Jazz is used as a full blast rally car!!! Intense!
If you have come in and talked to me about the Fit, you know that I’m completely amped about this platform. I think the potenial of being a track race car is amazing, and it would be a blast to slam through the gears, but I never even considered it as a rally car.
Check out this video to see the Honda Jazz Rally in action.
I love Motorsports. On-Road Racing, Off-Road Racing, doesn’t matter. So imagine how excited I get when you combine the two? Oh yeah!!!
Rally Racing has always been one of my favorites. But stage rally is not doing much in North America as far as running events and broadcasting on TV. But that’s where the Global Rally Cross comes in.
Global Rally Cross is more of a circuit style Rally race that is catching on all over the world. Races are usually held on a built race track before another major race event like Nascar. Add a little dirt and some jumps, and tada!!! You get Global Rally Cross.
Racing like this has helped attract some of the world’s best drivers like Tanner Foust, Brian Deegan, Rhys Millen, and Travis Pastrana, as well as some of the worlds best sponsors like Red Bull, Rockstar, and Subaru.

Cars are a culture. They are a passion. And in some cases, they are sickness. I think I call into the last category. Every since I was a kid, I have been addicted to cars.
Since I can’t drive them all in real life, sometimes I turn to video games to get my fix. But with the way the games are built these days, with the right set up, the feeling is almost real.
Honda is a big part of these games. For the new 2014 Civic Si, Forza Motorsports was the first game to get the full detail of the new car and make it alive in a video game.
Within the game, you could drive and car a digital replica of the Si, along with a list of other Honda cars to challenge the world.
Check out the video for an amazing view of the Civic Si in the digital world. You can check out the game for other amazing Honda cars from history.

The United Sport car Championship and the American Le Mans Series have always been great testing grounds for new designs and innovation. They are torture tests for new equipment to stress it to the limits, and help manufacturers improve their products for race and street application.
This year, Honda has added their name to the list of the engine manufacturers to power the Daytona Prototype cars. With the new competition-spec 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, Honda will joins challenge Ford and Chevy.
This is another major step forward for Honda in the world of motor sports. Honda already dominates the World Touring Car Championship series, and now it’s time to collect some more titles.

Another important thing to think about when purchasing your new or used car is longevity. Hold long will your car be around for?
Even if you are only leasing for 4-years, you still want a quality car that will have minimal maintenance, and that will bring a great trade value due to market confidence. So for that, look to the past.
A great way to see how the market feels about a vehicle brand is to compare the older models of the cars you are looking for. Look at a site like http://www.trader.ca to see what the 4, 5, and maybe all the way up to 10 year resale value looks like for the brand you are looking to buy. Is there a $4000 difference in price 4 years down the road for cars that cost around the same price now? Why is that?
You want to get a car that lasts. Even if you are only keeping it for a short period of time, you want to command a high residual and high trade value so you can get the best out of your investment.
Here’s a staggering number. 75% of Honda’s sold in the last 25 years are still on the road. 75%!!! That speaks volumes to the design and build quality of a car. When you invest in a Honda, you are investing in a vehicle that stands the test of time in our North American conditions.

If you have been reading my blogs, you know that I’m excited for the release of the 2014 Honda Civic Si Coupe and Sedan. Honda has done such a great job on this car for 2014, and you get so much car for such a small price…how can I not be excited?
Well, the time is almost here. We are expecting the first Si to arrive at Henley Honda later this month. I’m taking appointments to review the car.
The Si can be hard to get your hands on, so you want to be one of the first to review this amazing machine.

The level of technology in today’s car is amazing. Passive safety features like Vehicle Stability Assist, and Electronic Brake Force Management, along with the A.C.E. body structure and multiple air bag, it all means nothing if the car is not maintained correctly to keep you safe.
All Honda’s are built to be reliable and safe for years. They will outlive your use, and still be good to hand down to your kids when they are ready for their first car, but the key is proper maintenance.
Oil changes, rad and transmission flushes, brake and suspension repair, all vehicles have a maintenance schedule that was designed to keep your car safe, and problem free for years to come.
Just as important as making sure your car get’s the right maintenance, you want to make sure that it is maintained by a professional that is factory trained for your specific car, and has the right tools designed for the job.
Do you know what your cars maintenance schedule is?
I did it again! Two months in a row I have been named the salesmen of the month in the Henley Honda new car sales department.
This is a HUGE thing for me considering I have only been in the car sales business for 4-months.
What does this mean? For me, it means that I’m excelling at my role of getting my guests into the vehicles that are perfect for them, and for getting them the best deal I can.
Does that sound good to you?
Let’s talk about your next car,
Ever since I was a kid, Radio Controlled cars have been a hobby of mine. It’s something that from a young age, fueled my passion for cars and Motorsports.
Radio Controlled cars have come a long way since I was a kid, and now you can get almost anything you desire. Anything you like about cars, you can buy it, our build it to express yourself.
It’s a smaller way to be a part of a great club or support your favorite brand.

Since 1986, Honda has been producing cars at our award winning facility in Alliston, Ontario. Starting with the Accord in 1986, then switched to the Honda Civic, which has been Canada’s best selling car for the last 16 years.
In 1998, Honda build a second facility in Alliston to increase production as well as add the Odyssey, CR-V, and engine lines.
The manufacturing facilities have an annual capacity of 390,000 units and employs approximately 4,000 Associates. The vehicles produced at HCM are sold in Canada and exported to the United States and other export markets.
Honda’s philosophy believes that you should be building the cars where people are buying them. Honda is Canada, so it just makes good sense.
